Neurodevelopmental Specialist / Team Lead - Specialist Children’s Services in Glasgow

Do you have the motivation and drive to join Specialist Children’s Services teams in Health and Social Care Partnerships (HSCP’s) across NHS GGC (Glasgow City, West Dunbartonshire, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire). We are looking to recruit exceptional people to help us develop and deliver specialist neurodevelopmental services for children young people and their families?  

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the operational delivery of a specialist service for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. We are looking to recruit forward thinking individuals who will manage newly established multi-disciplinary teams engaging in neurodevelopmental assessment, post diagnostic intervention and providing support and consultancy across the wider children’s services system. The post holders will work across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Specialist Community Paediatrics Teams. 

You will work with the Implementation Lead or equivalent in developing systems and processes to enable effective assessment and care for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. You will also support effective clinical governance and appropriate systems of supervision are in place for a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians. 

You are required to be professionally registered with an appropriate professional body, have management of leadership experience along with significant experience in working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions. 

Training and support for your professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision and evidence-based practice. ​​​​​​​
