Pets at Home, the UK's leading pet care business, is seeking a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our Group Infrastructure team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting on-premises technologies, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a point of contact for 3rd line infrastructure support, addressing issues, incidents, and problems.
• Provide support for complex projects related to infrastructure services.
• Understand all aspects of configuration and technical/functional capabilities.
• Manage and report on the health of the platform through run and test activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and data teams to implement proactive monitoring.
• Work with 3rd party technical resources and manage suppliers to ensure SLAs are met.
• Conduct regular internal system audits.
• Understand capacity and run costs associated with environments.
• Engage with external 3rd party support partners for system maintenance/support/troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with other teams across the Group IT function.

Key Requirements:

• Ownership of complex Active Directory installations, including design, backup, upgrades, simplification, and management.
• Proficiency in Office 365, VMware, and Windows Server 2008 - 2019.
• Good understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Networking Technologies.
• Powershell expertise for user management.
• Supplier management experience for support services.
• Documentation skills, including high-level diagrams.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience at a similar level (3rd line support).

Additional Information:

• This role will be on-site 2-3 days per week at our Handforth Office.
• Expected to be on call as and when required.
