Whether you are new to the care sector or have experience, working within a Porthaven care home can be incredibly fulfilling.As Head Chef, you will manage the kitchen team, ensuring that the Porthaven dining experience is of the highest standard. You will manage stock, design menus making the most of your budget and you will serve delicious, well-balanced and nutritious meals that our residents will love. You will provide a high-quality food service to support our residents to live well, being responsive to their needs and contributing to their overall wellbeing whilst in our care, all without the split shifts and long weekends.About you:You must have experience of working in a commercial kitchen environment, ideally within a care home setting, but this is not essential. You should have an NVQ2 in Catering and Hospitality or Professional Cookery and a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
