Payroll Specialist Middleton, Greater Manchester Up to £30,000 12-month Fixed Contract Interaction is recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to prepare and process the fortnightly payroll for approx.1500 employees for a commercial distribution company in Middleton, Greater Manchester. The Job Responsibilities: Preparing + processing fortnightly payroll. Calculation of staff hours considering salaries, overtime, bonuses, taxes/NI, and other deductions. Input records accurately. Process hires, terminations, and changes in employment status. Verify timesheets, leave records and attendance information. Resolve any discrepancies and can question information. Calculate and process statutory deductions (tax, NI, and pension) Assist with the end-to-end payroll. Complete P45s and P46s. Stay up to date with payroll regulations. Provide monthly statistical data reports to Head of HR. Maintain the administration of benefit schemes. To administer statutory sick pay, statutory maternity pay, and statutory paternity pay. The Job Requirements: CIPP qualified/ similar qualification. Payroll software experience e.g., SAGE Payroll experience Understanding of payroll regulations, taxes, and PAYE procedures. Strong Excel skills. Skilled at identifying payroll discrepancies and resolving them. Benefits: Online Employee Benefits and discounts portal.
